The Florida Scholars Academy was developed with an individualized approach in mind, so each student gets the attention and care they deserve. We’ve found that students thrive when they find the pathway that best fits their needs for academic, career, and personal growth.

Student Pathways
Get Back On Track
We offer an accelerated student progression toward a high school diploma for those that are on track to return to a Kindergarten–12th grade school upon their release from the residential program.
Earn A Diploma
Earn a high school diploma or high school equivalent diploma while in the residential program’s care.
Set Up Your Future
Obtain industry-recognized credentials and certifications through the Career & Technical Education classes or participate in dual enrollment in order to get on a faster path toward a promising future.
Traditional Schedule
The student schedule contains 6 periods a day, from 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Blended Learning Model
Learn from online courses while being supported in-person by certified teachers.
Trimester Calendar
Course acceleration is based on trimesters, allowing students to complete a year of content in 4 months.
Discussion-Based Assessments (DBAs)
Courses use Discussion-Based Assessments, or one-to-one discussion with the teacher to ensure comprehension of the material.
